Multi award winning New Forest based, Ecologic Developments were commissioned by Bournemouth Borough Council to design and build 15 bespoke overnight beach lodges.
BJP Projects were approached by Ecologic Developments to produce detailed working drawings and a written specification and to liaise with Bournemouth Borough Council Building Control in order to gain the necessary statutory approvals prior to construction commencing.
Given the project had to adhere to a strict budget and completion date, it was suggested to design and build each unit in SIP Panels, rather than traditional timber frame construction. This enabled each lodge to be built much faster and efficiently and also offered unrivalled thermal properties once completed.
Each lodge boasts a mezzanine sleeping area, high spec kitchen and shower facilities and living area.
