Snakemore Farm

Conversion of redundant farm buildings to form three holiday accommodation units to add to and compliment the exiting two holiday accommodation units already established at Snakemoor farm.

The large barn was redesigned by referring to an aerial photograph of the site taken in circa 1970, where the barn was still fairly intact and could have been saved. Unfortuanately over the years the result was literally a pile of bricks on the ground and one wall left standing. The barn was completely rebuilt using original bricks which were salvaged from the site.

The smaller barn’s, originally believed to be cow sheds were in much better condition and most of the brickwork and original roof structure could be retained.
